So a monitor I've been using recently has an annoying coil whine issue. The exact sound it makes seems to depend on the image, so I thought "hm, maybe I can do something about it..."
And it turns out I can!

@merlin@toot.kif.rocks German, but spent a lot of my life in England, France, Scotland and Sweden. Waldmeister is firmly categorised as a German thing in my head. Never saw it elsewhere.

@polotek@social.polotek.net I don't do frontend stuff much, but I picked it up for a personal project recently and started by writing HTML and JS and CSS just like I learnt in the early 2000s. It got me quite far but also showed me why I might want to use something like React, which made no sense to me before I'd built a fair bit of functionality without.
