AVIATION TAKEAWAYS FROM MY SUMMER:
- Embraer E-175 jets have a funny issue where the flight computer will give a "FAULT" error if something is entered wrong in the flight computer. Only way to fix this is to either shut the plane down and power it back up with the APU or have technicians dick around in the cockpit for half an hour.
- First time I am going to fly on an AirBus A320 the plane is "rejected" by the pilot because half of the bathrooms do not work. Is this a more common issue? Who knows, Boeing 737-800 and 737-900ER are what I see most often and I have never heard of their bathrooms crapping out on a flight crew.
So yeah, American products have been better to fly on and continue to be.
