I just discovered how awesome #Podcasts are
Like not necessarily the content, but the distribution tech is usually surprisingly open!
Most Podcasts are distributed over #RSS feeds. You can just follow them, no need to log in or anything.
And since this is the standard and the easiest way to publish podcasts (give providers just a link to the feed), this privacy-, freedom-, and user-friendly stystem stayed largely intact 🤯

The Sovereign Tech Agency (@sovtechfund) is one of the few absolutely great things to come out of German policy decisions, and when I am feeling Weltschmerz, it can be very uplifting to remind myself that this agency exists

- Step 11 in the keyboard replacement guide is missing a screw that looks like all the ones that have to be removed in the step (right to the backlight cable on the black area). It is already removed in the picture. I dont think I missed it? Should maybe be marked to avoid confusion
But alas, after cleaning, reassembly, half my keyboard not working because of the glued jumpers being hard to insert, reassambling again, its back in full working order
I just watched #ProjectHailMary and omg im going again (OV this time)
I've always wished to have been among the lucky ones to whitness Star Wars or Back to the Future when it released, and I have the feeling that this may be this kind of #movie
I would watch it for every aspect I can think of
- The Cinematography
- The score
- The story
- The technical parts
All of them are more than good enough to stand on their own feet. Together, theyre so much more.

Why do we have to verify the age online? Haven't cashiers done that forever? Wouldn't it be incredibly easy to sell age keys like 18+ gift cards? I could even watch the cashier *not* enter any personal information, something I could not do digitally.
Am I missing something here, or is this debate just owned by people who are not interested in actual privacy?
I think this needs to be said: An Everything app offers nothing useful to you. You already have a device that can do everything. Your Phone / PC.
An everything app just lets the Developer guide what you do when you are in a low agency state (stressed, sad, #ADHD etc), and its usually spending money and attention on things that dont make you happy
Having a separation of concerns between apps gives you more power to choose what you do
