The public defense of my Computer Science PhD thesis yesterday was fun and intense. Thanks @SimoSarkka@mastodon.social for the examination!
The karonkka party at restaurant Sunn was lovely, the restaurant performed top notch, there was the loveliest dance performance ever, and the speeches were so kind and generous. ❤

Let me introduce myself. I'm a marine scientist & data scientist, and will probably use this space to follow mostly scientific things - but that remains to be seen.
Other things I enjoy are social justice, board and role playing games, dancing and music, knitting, reading, science fiction, and spending time with friends & loved ones.

I just finalized my 2nd PhD degree, the first one having been 15 years ago. AMA.
The first one was fisheries science, the new one computer science.
