That last xkcd (#3266 – Holes) is such a nerd snipe.
Guess it's that time of the year where I obsess over deep geological repositories again. 🙃

Usual mood: confused. Ingénierie à rebours & endless home renovation. I always enjoy a good walk down the page tables.

@gsuberland@chaos.social Hah, typing away stuff in IDA kinda feels like that to me. :D

@zhuowei@notnow.dev Not an avid patch differ but my recurring experience with BinDiff and IDA every once in a while is that it's easy up until I get a table of diff by function, then I have to squint very hard to find out what the diff is in some function I'm interested in, get frustrated because some changes aren't highlighted as such (immediate values IIRC?), and I give up shortly thereafter, never wanting to do diffing again. 🤷
@matalaz@mastodon.social Probably has better pro tips. :-p
