I think I want to make a cartoon.
I've re-opened my Patreon page, and the project I'm most interested in working on right now is a series of animations based on a world that I've been building over the past year-and-a-half.
This is a test animation that I produced last week to start to get a feel for how it might come together.
Whaddya think? Anybody out there interested in seeing a "lost" Saturday morning cartoon be brought back to life?
Boy, I don't know if my age has anything to do with it, but when I read the Artemis II updates, I'm both excited and very anxious for the crew.
Man, the pro-AI spin on Linkedin is wild.
Funny enough, the pros are always about productivity and not about, like, a better life for humans on planet Earth.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think that these people had all INVESTED A LOT in AI...
Who else out there is so offended by automatically-generated response suggestions that you deliberately write something that hasn't been suggested, even when one of the auto-responses would be appropriate?
Went to get cat food.
Passed two city workers in high-vis suits doing nothing but standing on the corner bitching about unemployed people collecting benefits and what a drain on society they are.
Came back an hour later. Same two guys, standing in the same spot, doing nothing but bitching about property taxes.
What was this about people being a "drain on society", now?
Hah. I've done that thing where you try to Ctrl-Z or two-finger-tap while drawing on paper, but this is the first time I've ever put down my Wacom stylus and started looking for a kneaded rubber eraser before realizing that I was working digitally.
Doing my first-ever furry commission.
*pats self on back*
Funny how a printer can violently try to grab paper from the feeder, then stop and go "AHH! I CAN'T GET IT! I'M JAMMED!" and so you press the start button and it calmly feeds the blank paper into the tray with no problems. Over and over again.
Just... slow the fuck down and calmly grab the paper from the feeder at the outset, maybe?
At last! The weather is nice enough to draw outside! Woohoo!
Web site is broken, out of the blue. Spent an hour trying to figure out what the hell happened, and finally figured out that my host has apparently switched from Apache to Litespeed, which is *not* a 1:1 replacement for Apache. I rely on some .htaccess directives that Litespeed does not implement. Fantastic.
As far as I can tell this migration wasn't announced anywhere?
Going to bed now, but I really did not want to spend my Thursday doing emergency repairs on my Web sites.
"[...]Trump Administration is unlikely to engage in any actions that would begin to limit and contain the growing power and violence of extremist groups because the Administration is, apparently, in the hands of people sympathetic to those groups."
No, they're not just sympathetic, they're *counting on* those groups to keep them in power by force after the next presidential election.
@cbleslie@hachyderm.io Of course! I'm happy to work a piece rates, I just have to know the nature of the work before I can give you an estimate.
@cbleslie@hachyderm.io Thanks! My base day rate is $200, so a page rate would be derived from that, depending on the nature of the project.
