I swear, it took way too long for HTTPS to become standard. It took a Firefox session hijacker extension (Firesheep) for companies to finally start enforcing HTTPS on everything.
After a billion years, my pleroma instance is back up.
I think self-hosting will be the way to run this thing for now since lightweight VPS's don't have enough disk storage for the database... and I don't want to pay extra money for a db server...
