A couple of things before I go -

Second - there's some feedback and I've also noticed some of the music tracks I've used are a bit too loud so need a bit of adjusting - I'll try and get that sorted during the week.
Memo to self: Clean system after today's stream and see if it makes a difference to the temperature.

Streaming this weekend was good.
Got a bit stuck on Saturday with figuring out how to do outlines and integrating Godot into the existing Typescript setup so wrote out a plan for having a stream display render that shows the message using unix sockets between it and the desktop client.

For this weekend's streaming I'll be working on the stream renderer display getting that up and running and displaying chat messages!
Still trying to get some sort of local multistream solution working and haven't worked on the website.

For this weekend's streaming I'll be looking at fixing the username length so the badges sit next to it properly and also deal with splitting whole lines of text out. If I sort that then I'll work on ways to bring the messages in.

Streaming on Saturday & Monday went pretty well.
Got the gigantified emote to appear within a message and the cheermote to display the bits value text in different colours based on the tier (1-6). Looked at trying to get the "Neon fly-in" somewhat working - need to do some more homework.
Streaming this weekend went great.
Got some animations working and also switched to using the perspective camera for displaying the chat messages.
More bug fixing and work on getting a neon fly-in animation working next Saturday!

Streaming went pretty well this weekend.
Finished off the Godot 3D game tutorial then started doing some research using the Godot GIF GDExtension for getting animated GIFs working. Ran out of time trying to do camera scrolling.

After stepping away from it for a bit after stream (and a good sleep haha) I've managed to get the first part of the text onto the new line so now "I'" goes along with "m a pirate.".
I'll probably fix the first line when it's not broken and end of line emote placement on stream later.

For this weekend's streaming I'll be carrying on with working on my chat message for my chat window prototype in Godot. Probably want to implement behaviour for when a gigantified emote is used.

Streaming went well this weekend!
Finished off the 2nd iteration of the Controller server - there's a couple of bugs in there that needs some fixing but that can be done in the next iteration as that's not really an issue.
Also started learning how to use Godot! More Saturday!

Streaming this weekend went well.
Got the badges to be placed after the username, fixed the splitting of text, had some great help from Stewie fixing the UI layout and using the tweening feature in Godot.

Got an initial idea of what I want the chat message Fly in animation to be for the chat window prototype in Godot and setup an initial viewport that handles the text and emotes better than the current setup (height fix on Saturday!)

Wow... who would have thought finding a replacement for the sticky notes application Knotes was a rather miserable experience. Other apps seem to be limited in their own ways (can't set font size or it's too big). :/
(No - KDE's Marknote is no where near what I want - that's a notebook application)

Got the (animated) emotes for the chat message in the chat window prototype working and worked on adding a cheermote fragment to the chat message.
Gonna look into seeing if I can make the text that has the bits value bold to make it stand out a little bit.

Tried to stub out something in the SocketServer abstract class for my Godot-based chat window and that didn't work at all on Saturday but managed to get past that on Sunday and started putting the unit tests together!
