After a long time, I’m pleased to share this article Nicolas Malevé and I authored for the first issue Duke’s new journal Critical AI. In good company in this issue with @samlavigne@mastodon.social
Next week’s panel DATA/MODELS/BODIES/PUBLICS for Critical AI in the Art Museum is open for zoom registration at https://criticalAI.art 🌀 🤖There is growing awareness of how machine learning is being deployed to classify audiences, publics, and bodies both inside and outside the art museum. How might artists re-appropriate, intervene, re-claim machine learning for culturally progressive ends? What methodologies and approaches might inform a critical AI praxis? ⏰ Please note slightly later time 🔮 [🌐TIMES: 08:30 London / 09:30 Berlin / 14:00 Mumbai / 16:30 Singapore /19:30 Canberra]
