My fellow #Linux nerds: recommend me an alternative to Ubuntu. Here's what I value:
- I don't want AI built-in
- I prefer apt due to familiarity
- I don't like snap
- My primary uses are coding and gaming, the latter of which I mostly do through Steam and Proton-GE or wine via Bottles
- I do like the simplicity of setting up and using Ubuntu. I have ancient Slackware and Gentoo experience and I'm no longer at the stage of life where I can spend more time managing/optimizing than using :-P
I qualified for the middle-age olympics! Gonna be a miniscus thrower.

This headline is poor. As far as I could tell, the court said that AI generated results presented in search interface are not solely accurate references to other sites, and therefore are content authored by Google and for which Google is responsible (e.g. libel claims).
I've settled on the following nickname for Jared Kushner: Grift Gatsby.

Can't remember if I didn't get this far in the 2nd book, or don't remember it because it was like Junior High, but this is a good quote.
Fantastic that Google changed the Drive system notification icon to look very much like the AirBnB one /s
Wikipedia has to go down in flames, so we can't easily fact-check AI search results!
If I were in charge, it would be against international law to use the term "ceasefire" to describe a situation where either or both sides are still firing.
