This 5-week class explores typography through a critical, decolonial lens, opening urgent conversations about power, history, identity, and who shapes the canon. It’s about expanding how we think, practice, and teach type. 🔥

Led by the incredible Schessa Garbutt with a curated group of guest lecturers, the course invites designers to question assumptions and reimagine what typography can do. If you’re ready to challenge your perspective and deepen your practice, we’d love to have you join us.

September in the US is Hispanic Heritage Month. It's a time for celebration but also a time when we’re flooded with graphics that stereotype and reduce the complexity and diversity of our Latin American culture and identity to a caricature.

It’s not often that you see pieces in the news about type and even less common to read pieces that call for a more critical and thoughtful approach toward design.
