I made a tool called jxltran to do all kinds of operations on JXL files without touching the actual image data (no decode/re-encode), just by changing header fields. Also allows drawing splines on top of the image. Web version here: https://sneyers.info/jxltran/ (requires a browser that supports jxl).

@jaffathecake I don't get why this requires a web API in the first place. What's wrong with just using existing ways to send a request somewhere and get a response? This feels like leveraging Chrome marketshare to push adoption of Gemini, since implementing the API with anything else will likely cause interop issues.
