Ich treffe schon die ersten Vorbereitungen für meinen #Linux #Treiber #Workshop 2027. Ziel davon ist es einen Treiber für ein einfaches USB Gerät zu erstellen. Darüber kann man eine RGB LED ansteuern und einen Taster auslesen. Als Controller für das USB Gerät steht der AVR16DU14 hoch im Kurs. Heute habe ich ein erstes Sample in Betrieb genommen. Für den Betrieb braucht man wirklich nur sehr wenig weitere Komponenten. Dann geht's jetzt bald an das Platinendesign 🙃

Dieses Jahr darf ich am 29.03.26 wieder meinen #linux #treiber #workshop auf den #clt2026 geben 🐧 .

Zum ersten Mal habe ich auch Hardware für bis zu 30 Teilnehmende. Vielen Dank für die Raspberry Pi Spenden vom letzten Jahr 😀

Last Friday, I made my debut at the Embedded Software Engineering Congress 2025 with my Linux driver workshop. At the end, 17 motivated participants had written a driver for an I2C device. I really enjoyed the congress, which took place throughout last week. The presentations were very interesting and it was easy to strike up conversations with people.
