Text from family member today showed how they leveraged Claude to write an app to help manage some of his receipts for his coffee shop instead of leveraging his accountant to do the same job. He joked $20/month vs the 7 hours each month he was paying his accountant is a no-brainer. AI making his job of balancing the books for his local coffee shop easier.

How do you rebuild your Ubuntu box so it has the same stuff as your previous build? Interested in learning as I always feel I forget some setting or tool

@jasonkoebler@mastodon.social We are encouraged to dump our phone every time Apple or Samsung comes out with a newer model with some feature which is also but an enviornmental disaster, but I haven't seen the same amount of words typed about that as I have this whole Windows 10 thing, and it's been 10 years since that OS came out. Do you write the same type of story each time a new iPhone comes out? Trying not to sound like a Microsoft apologist
