A beautiful 60° day for a beach hike. Skippyjon is finally over his hives and was VERY loudly telling the world how happy he is!
Today's afterwork beach run/walk... not as warm as it has been, but no rain today.
A warm Mother's Day hike from Clam Beach to Vista Point. Unfortunately, the ragweed is in bloom, so Skippyjon needed a bath and an antihistamine when we got home.

I know that feeling well... I've been detoxing from two years of steroids for my long covid, and some days are super foggy and exhausting. Rest, a nice hike, and a good meal always help bring me back. I hope you find your joy too!

It so rarely gets above 65° here on the coast that we don't think to wear shorts unless we are headed inland! We did see several people in shorts and hoodies today... kind of a mixed "I'm cold, but the suns shining" vibe! 😄

I think they are nicer than us Californians for the most part... we have a reputation for being in too much of a hurry on all our miles of freeways.
It's yet another reason to love rural living... I saw a man riding his horse on the rural side road on my way home tonight!
