It is still very dry in NE #tasmania with the local Bennets wallabies resorting to gnawing on branches and roots. Rainfall for the first four months of the year is less than half the average.

@davidho@mastodon.world most days i wonder at plants that have been quietly growing around here for the last million years, twenty million years, sixty million years. Almost unbelievable, but now i have to consider three billion years of uninterrupted RNA/DNA combinations and permutations.
