I really need to find a job I don’t hate before I retire.

In Puerto Rico we used the word “Googoolealo”, pronounced “goo goo leah low”. Also, when I “search something up”on ChatGPT I say I “chadded” it, because I call this entity Chad. (Only me and my wife use this as a verb and I understand that this will never catch on, but it should.)

I felt a tad bit targeted reading this article. I’m definitely in the “closing the rings” cult, letting sunlight hit my corneas as early as possible as Daddy Hubby commands, and have been increasing my running mileage. I am, without a doubt, healthier, but there is a dark side to all of this. So yeah, I don’t have a ton of friends and I have cut down on alcohol. I’m just not at the level of obsession (I think and hope) that Thompson is naming as the Enhanced Self.

I realize that the solution to the smartphone problem is not as simple as just deleting apps and turning off notifications. My views on this keep evolving. But I have landed at some ways of being more intentional about how and when I use it.
