Apparently there was briefly a #data set of #Catan games, but it's gone now.
Does anyone have a copy? And/or know why it was taken down?
Ioana Roman used the dataset to make this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGszJM2BNi4
There seems to be a copy of the original repo without the data at https://github.com/OrgadYron/catan_43k_games_dataset
DDG has this excerpt: "Jan 16, 2026 - 43,947 anonymized 4-player Catan games from Colonist.io `games.tar.gz` (697 MB compressed, 6.9 GB uncompressed)"

@GeePawHill@mastodon.social I quite enjoyed the Stars Uncharted books by Sherylyn and Karen Dunstall, and the Linesman trilogy is on my to-read list: https://www.skdunstall.com/book-table-2/
Folks making things with #bevy: how many entities do you have in a typical screen? #ECS is a very different way to think, and I have no sense of scale! #gamedev #bevyengine
