Howdy! 👋

I'm a level 29 web dev from 🇫🇮 Finland. Full-stack developer and Scrum Master by trade, but more into server-side #programming, #networking, and #sysadmin stuff.

During the summer, I love #trekking, #camping and #openWaterSwimming. Also somewhat of an #avgeek ✈️ and a huge #Lego fanatic.

A #furry or something. Why be yourself when you can be a fluffy raccoon on the internet? Profile pic partly generated with Stable Diffusion, sketching & touch-ups by me.

@edaross@neurodifferent.me @moliver@mastodon.social @feditips@mstdn.social I did some quick experimenting and the limit seems to be around 2500 characters. When hitting the limit, the toot gets rejected with HTTP 422. Don't know the exact number as I didn't want to spam it and inadvertently cause any issues..😅

@feditips@mstdn.social So only the first 23 characters are shown and rest are hidden? But surely there must be some limit on the length of the actual URL? Otherwise it would be a major vulnerability. Feeling kinda inclined to test this..

@zhuowei@notnow.dev Nice! Now I can use Mastodon at work without the boss noticing.

For real tho, I didn't know modern MS Outlook still includes an RSS reader. Probably only a very small number of people use it, but I'm glad they haven't removed it
