Ook in vergelijking met omringende landen, zoals België 🇧🇪 , Duitsland 🇩🇪 en Frankrijk 🇫🇷 , gebruiken we nog te veel het verouderde IPv4. Hierdoor profiteren we maar beperkt van de voordelen van IPv6, zoals verdere groei en innovatie van het internet, directere en snellere dienstverlening en betere mogelijkheden om fraude tegen te gaan. Websites en e-maildiensten die alleen IPv4 ondersteunen, kunnen bovendien niet communiceren met diensten die uitsluitend IPv6 gebruiken. 2/4

Domeinhouders die zijn overgestapt op IPv6, moeten daarom ook nog IPv4 blijven ondersteunen. Dit betekent dubbel beheer, hogere kosten en onnodige complexiteit. Direct of indirect betalen we hier allemaal aan mee. Het is de hoogste tijd om de overgang naar IPv6 te versnellen, in het belang van de Nederlandse economie, de individuele internetgebruiker en het wereldwijde internet. 3/4

@AngelaScholder @harld @vosje62 @alterelefant Mooi gesprek! Qua internetverbinding kunnen vrijwel alle grote providers nu IPv6 leveren. Of het werkt is alleen wel afhankelijk van het modem en de instellingen daarvan. Alleen Odido blijft achter: https://heeftodidoipv6.nl/ Daarnaast levert Vodafone nog geen IPv6 op mobiel, terwijl bijvoorbeeld KPN dat wel doet. Voor wat cijfers per AS zie: https://stats.labs.apnic.net/ipv6/NL

@olaf@social.secret-wg.org https://dashboard.internet.nl draait ook Traefik. Het gaat om versie 3.6 in combinatie met OpenSSL 3.5. Hier de TLS-config: https://github.com/internetstandards/Internet.nl-dashboard-server/commit/f137164515ea4ff5242955a52e513aae747cb61b Deze configuratie slaagt ook voor de subtest voor “Hash function for key exchange”. Hopelijk helpt dit je verder. Succes en laat weten als je toch nog vragen hebt.
