@YaLTeR@mastodon.online Further proves that if it is a thing on a screen, it can play Bad Apple

@YaLTeR@mastodon.online Thanks! Looks rather simple to configure, which is nice. I’ll try it myself when I get the chance (I’ll probably have to find a flake somewhere since the blur branch isn’t in nixpkgs)

@veronica based take. Host my own Forgejo instance on an old laptop just on my local network for backups of my GitHub and whatnot. Had to deal with the thing’s IP rotating every couple weeks until I set up Tailscale because I can’t be bothered to set up static IP, but I’ll still take self-hosted any day

@YaLTeR@mastodon.online I haven't really been keeping up with the whole blur thing. How will it impact performance (I'm on an iGPU, specifically intel hd graphics 620), and will the blur intensity be customisable?

@YaLTeR@mastodon.online Looks really good, any ETA on when the next niri stable release will be so that I can play around with the new blur, because Nixpkgs uses niri stable and I don't want to compile from source (my laptop is too weak for rust compilation :/)

@markstos@urbanists.social Thanks for the notice! It’s been merged into nixpkgs, just waiting for it to be merged into nixos-unstable so that I can actually use it
