Trying out ABCarus for local editing of abc music #notation. I'm running the AppImage on #debian and so far for the simple edits I've done its working well! I've been using online WYSIWYG abc editing tools for years but always wanted something local. This allows you to type out abc notation and sheet music is rendered in real time in split screen, also provides a player so you can hear the music.
For many years when I've gone to events to play music I've hauled along a heavy bag with music books (both self-made print-on-demand as well as three ring binders of tunes). I wanted to move everything into an e-ink device like those large Boox models but way too pricey still. Instead I'm trying out using a cheaper Lenovo 11" tablet with just F-Droid to install a couple important tools. Chief among them is Librera Reader. Does everything I need even has a musician mode.

Doubtless they have many accounts already monitoring these sources masquerading as civilians. The only reason for an official government account is to start posting responses / propaganda / disinformation.

I've used a paid android app #AlmostTI for a long time as my default #calculator - an emulated TI-85. It currently has an issue with the latest android security update (they are working on it) but I need a calculator... I found "Graph 89" on F-droid, an open source #emu for a bunch of TI calcs (but not the TI-85 so I'm checking out the TI-89 since I had a ROM for that and wow its different. #Graph89 has been around for a long time but this is a fork for modern android
