Expert alpine skier living too far from the slopes to do more than a couple of weeks a year. For the rest of the time I am a potholer, cyclist and hillwalker who loves all things outdoors in the hills and mountains. Based in the western Yorkshire Dales, England.
I had a coffee with an old friend today that I hadn't seen for far too many years. We talked about a trip we did to the tepuis in Venezuela in the early 90s so I dug out this old photo of her sitting on the lip at the top of Roraima. It is many, many 100s of metres below their feet !

Friends of the Dales is asking people to sign their petition to try and get the government to do more. Sign here https://friendsofthedales.org.uk/campaigns/eyes-on-the-skies-petition
