Other-worldly Hugh

C-Suites in 5 years (hopefully in the trials):

How could we have known that the efficiency gains we predicted would come from AI were unfounded? That would've required us to listen to the opinions of:
- Our qualified and experienced employees
- AI domain experts
- AI ethicists
- Literally any of the research into efficiency gains from the use of AI
- What literally all smart people are saying
- People who can observe the world they exist in

I hope everyone’s working on their hexpansions for #emfcamp - I sure am. I might have to organize an hexpansion talent show.

I think back to fruitful collaborations with engineering colleagues and leaders I greatly respected, and I remember the great lessons I learned from them and have applied (with limited success I must admit) to my career.

They’re all just on LinkedIn talking about how programming is prompting now. Debasing themselves as if the skill is just gone.

We’ve had

- The Social Web
- Web 2.0
- Web 3.0
- The Dark Web
- The Internet of Things

But now the C suite has discovered lovable

And we must prepare for

The Janky Web

Hey look an hexagon

It’s nice that Harrison Ford finally got to work on a show he doesn’t abhor at the ripe old age of eighty bajillion

He picked 8pm to maximize TV ratings

I’m so mad about the Star Trek situation.

I’m just saying, how different are transformer based LLMs to just really really really big markov chains with some kind of distance matching rather than exact matching anyway.

Today's woodworking adventure involved shaving an honest to goodness spoke with my spokeshave. Tomorrow, I'll be cutting panels again, because the hexagon was too big. Turns out when you don't plan to do dovetails, you get stuff done.

This is sure to draw the ire of my former massachussan neighbors, but it’s clear to see that Dunkin Donuts is better in the Netherlands. New England Ben n Jerry’s is way better though.

Well well well
