@ApostateEnglishman I imagine it’s harder to resist Main Character Syndrome when everyone calls you “your Highness” all day rather than “Sausage-toe Charlie” or whatever his nickname at Timbertop was.
I’m still disappointed that we went ahead and sanctified him rather than using his personal record as a reason to finally go Republic.

But NVidia will suddenly need to find something to do with all of the production capacity they pre-bought with TSMC, and all those ram fabbers are literally spinning up factories at the moment that will suddenly have a burning need to make something to sell to consumers.

Instead of hearing a whole episode of TGG, some people are now going to have the experience where, at random intervals, the volume goes up 15% and some excited ad-reader yells in their ears to buy boner pills or invest in gold.
It stinks. You don't want that smell on your show.
Some FoDs are going to quit the show because of this, and we'll miss them. There's got to be a better way to grow funding without resorting to DEI.

I hate this spin-arse sentence. Just say "we want to use Dynamic Ad Insertion because we hate that some listeners don't pay us any money but still listen to our show". That's the truth.

Look. I'm a long-time FoD. I pay my dues, because I'm in a position where I can. And I'll keep paying my dues over on the relaunch.
And I don't know the economics of this. It's entirely possible that Uxbridge Shimoda are looking at a funding cliff and this is the best thing A&B can do to secure the future of the show.

I couldn’t stop marvelling at how strong the emotional rapport between Gosling and (I thought) a CG character was. Until I read up and realised Rocky is a puppet. Makes perfect sense now!
Puppets, man! They are the way for sci fi creatures. 5 seconds after talking to a puppet and you forget there’s a puppeteer - the puppet is the person.
