The American political spectrum is so much right-shifted, that most Americans can’t even imagine what a true left or socialist policy would even be. Even the most far-right nutjobs in Europe would not question things like general healthcare.

While in the US voluntary unionisation seems often limited and rather pointless, in countries like Austria, it is even mandated by law that workers are represented. Quite incompatible with the endless strive for shareholder value. Or how about 20 weeks of paid parental leave for EACH parent, which is not transferable?

I assume you’re using external drives, so there is some external USB-C-to-something controller involved? Is some Raid in the mix? Are the missing files related to a specific mount in any way?
