Jax 💜 🔜 AWU

thought i'd make a lil introductory post...

Hii, I'm Jax!! I'm 22, Canadian, taken, and use he/they pronouns. I've got two main sonas you'll see me as, Breo the protogen, and Nyx the... novabeast? fluffy dragon? they can kinda be anything, but always follow a familiar design.

Currently, I'm trying to focus most on improving my 3D modeling and texturing skills, since my main "job" right now is creating VRChat assets (I love it! But it's not sustainable... not yet at least!) You'll definitely see VRC content from me here.

I also enjoy programming, networking, any tech/dev stuff. It's currently just a hobby, but if the right opportunities arose, I'd totally go for it as a career too. So you'll probably also get a lot of random yapping about tech stuff from me here lol

If any of that interests you and you want to learn more, check out my website! https://hiijax.net

thanks for reading and for having me here on https://synth.download !! 💜💜

funny weird dual drive i shucked is funny because it’s only detected every second boot, but works fine otherwise

totally forgot and missed the first one, but imma upload better quality versions of my tiktoks here on their 1 year anniversaries, because fuck tiktok (i had a kick last year that ended in me realizing just how bad and addictive such sites are)

anyways few days late but here's that first one... idek how it got traction there lol, it's just a goofy mmd, i swear i have better content!

what happened to the other 23 WiiConnects hmmm?? 🤨

btw, i've been a lil shy about it here but,

i run a lil site called protogen.chat! it's where i've started to self-host stuff that i can share with others.

if you're a protogen or protogen enjoyer, i especially think you should check out the webring. there's some cool creatures in it, and i'd love to host many more! :D

both the webrings i applied to just added me and that makes me happyyyy :protogen:

but hmm... i think i need MOREEE

i'm obsessed with this lil music widget i added to my site. it just fetches my teal.fm status from my pds, but like it's so cool

a year ago today, Pop featured me in his "drawing a protogen everyday for a month" series. truly a special day for the JaxVerse.

oh also i figured out how to forward ports with firewalld from my vps to my server at home, so now i don't have to rely on caddy l4 or velocity, and can do port ranges!

technically also means the "Matrix is too complex for my backend" on protogen.chat's about page is no longer true...
