One of the major reasons people use AI is that they don't actually want to do things, they want to have done things.
If you have AI write a novel, you don't want to write a novel, you want to have written a novel. If you have AI write code, you don't want to write code, you want to have written code. If you have AI create a picture, you don't want to make art, you want to have made art.
So apparently if you search for "Pikachu" on DuckDuckGo, this is the logo that appears on the top of the page during that search.

I've been thinking about this because it comes up so the time at work. Management is pushing everyone to incorporate AI into their workflow and often the ways people do so could be accomplished more effectively, more cheaply, and more reliably with "traditional" automation methods.

The government surveiling it's citizens? No, no, no, that would illegal. What they're doing is allowing the data broker industry to surveil the citizens with no legal guardrails and then buying that data from them using taxpayer money. It's very different.

Really feels like Nintendo is trying to kill physical games without technically killing physical games
Fun fact: peanuts are neither peas nor nuts.
Ya, that's right, look it up.
Why yes, I would be interested in playing Ducky Ducky Literature Club, thank you
Just beat Whitney in Polished Crystal. Hey Miltank is just as grueling as I remember, but it didn't really pose a problem, just took forever to beat between the healing moves and the hyper potion. Bugsy was actually much harder. Probably because I chose Chikorita as my starter.

This strategy of firing half of the employees so the other half can chew through expensive AI tokens for no purpose other than to rise in the internal AI-usage leaderboards seems really good. I'm sure it won't have any downsides long-term.
I'm at the point in my life where the bottleneck of what video games I have time to play is time, not money. I have so many games in the backlog that I got on sale for a great value, but I just don't have the free time to play them all.
