Here's an article I wrote back in the spring about my bee hotel. Since then, several of the "apartments" have been occupied, and one or two look like they've been evicted (read: eaten) by whatever drilled its way in and had a snack. Cue the Disney soundtrack, "It's the Circle of Life," etc.

After years under the Italian system, the reality is different. You get a priority code based on medical need.
Chronic conditions are fully covered. You might wait six months for a hip replacement, but you will not spend six years paying for it.
