Than it is to talk to someone who lives right next to you for 15 years...

@Daojoan@mastodon.social It is much easier to open up to someone on the internet. If they don't like you, you can forget about it and never talk to that person again. You might even block each other. So the price of misunderstanding is extremely low. Real life is not like that. In real life we have "small talk" to fill the awkward silence. Notice there is no small talk on the internet? That's the goal in life too: talking about something meaningful with strangers... But damn it's hard...

@kaychristianheine so there is no color grading here? i've never tried doing anything serious with film... love to rely on fuji's film simulations. but u can't fake that bokeh! and u can't get such slow and aware process...

@Daojoan@mastodon.social Do you mean that in a good way? Like yeah, they kinda do build tools which connect humanity. Imagine any big tech... Tools might not be good, but they are still useful. At the same time this sounds negative like "why don't they try to talk to people themselves first".
