We've been working hard on our latest vector style - Transport! Our familiar global transportation map is now available in our Vector Styles API, for use with your #maplibre projects.

Some git things that I've learned in the last 3 months, having used git for over 17 years 😆 :

`git commit --amend` - with staged changes. Instead of running `git rebase -i HEAD~2`. Found this by accident.

`git branch --merged` - lists merged branches that are ready to be deleted.

`git worktree` - I think I'd heard of these before, but I've started using them for real. Very useful for some of our Thunderforest stylesheets when variations (e.g. dark mode) live on long-lived branches.

Yesterday I nerd-sniped myself while working on our next client-side style. I noticed that the dashes on one of the paths was occasionally not quite right, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Cue several hours of noodling away on a problem that I'm sure nobody else would ever notice!

Eventually I figured out how to more clearly demonstrate the issue, and that it was a bug in Maplibre. I think the fix took them less time than me filing the issue! 🎉 https://github.com/maplibre/maplibre-gl-js/issues/7704 #thunderforest

I believe there is some sort of off-by-one error while transitioning between zoom levels when using data-driven line-dasharray layers (see #5812). maplibre-gl-js version: 5.24.0 browser: Firefox 15...

@notjustbikes Great video! My wife and I explored the Stockholm metro last summer, and we had a great time. One thing that really helped us was that the CityMapper transit app includes a map that shows certain stations with a "selected art in the subway" symbol. We found it was much more helpful than any of the lists we found on the internet, particularly when we were out exploring during the day. It's a sunny day today, which reminds me there are currently three community energy investment opportunities open on Ethex!

The last one is particularly interesting to me because they are raising funds to buy a battery for an existing solar park - they produce more solar than they can export during the middle of the day, so want to do some time-shifting of that power.

@ticho@mas.to tram lines (the black tracks) and trolleybus routes (red lines with route numbers) are already shown. I think you are asking about tram routes - yes, that's on our future ideas list! I don't want to obscure the details of the tracks, so I've avoided just drawing route lines on top of the tracks. I'll figure out a good way to show them.
