@BBC5Live love this lesson in social skills! "resting disinterested face"! 😅

@unsafe@m.webtoo.ls @TauriApps@fosstodon.org @elk@m.webtoo.ls can I take that back?! 😂 Found the font size setting. Now looks a treat. Yes would like a little more customisation, but the speed and smoothness of the app is v impressive.

@yuhline Try out @elk for a familiar Twitter interface on Mastodon. @qwosl

@mmasnick Thought that was a very enjoyable, well written and balanced article, nice one.

@davidaugust@mastodon.online An astounding collection but to me the real beauty is in the unique decorative it creates on the ceiling and wall. Truly one of a kind! @BrianJopek@home.social#Germany #collection #bookcollection #library #books

@tchambers Hope you're right Tim. From your knowledge of the situation, is it possible for any one service to put up barriers to said bridges? (thinking especially Bluesky, could they decide they're growing fast enough and don't need /want ActivityPub & co)? @mmasnick

@200ok edit is soooo useful. Why oh why do I only ever spot typos AFTER I've posted a message! 🤦‍♂️

@feditips thank you for this - good for when not on a Windows machine (for that I just use Win + . which also works v well TBH)

@unsafe@m.webtoo.ls @TauriApps@fosstodon.org ah, that's interesting because the Elk as a PWA doesn't render that well to me. Font size too big and I can't see how to customise. Maybe I missed it tho

@kakape@mas.to @Gargron@mastodon.social are there any metrics of engagement with Mastadon by those accounts? A lot of people have created backup mastadon accounts +/- are simply cross-posting tweets. Nothing wrong with that per se, but curious to see how much standalone traction Mastadon is getting.
