Hey Northern #California, this planned city is intended for the triangle between i-80, highway 12, and the Delta, and it sucks rocks in 100 different ways. Watch out for it to come up, and please let your state legislators know that it's bad for wildlife and bad for the people who already live in the area. https://youtube.com/shorts/gzjmPdoa5-M?is=D4wSlXHQzLub2IGZ I tend to be more of a yimby, but not when it comes to intentional, gated sprawl.

@Nonilex@masto.ai My kid qualifies, I'm kind of hoping things can work out for me. But there's no guarantee we won't get better and there's no guarantee they won't go downhill.

@spazcosoft@peoplemaking.games I have a relative who was required to come back to work but his entire team was another locations. So he came back to work and sat in a conference room and did video calls with his colleagues in India and Washington and London and New Jersey.

@glassblowerscat@wandering.shop I remember that day. It was like getting a lot of hair cut off, initially somewhat fraught, even if I knew it was the right thing to do, but then I just moved more lightly through the world.

@ai6yr I used to know a woman who, around the time the vitamin k shot was introduced, I think, just before it, lost one baby, got to keep another, lost a third, and finally adopted because she thought it was her making faulty babies. Very soon after that the shot came around, and she could have had kept her babies.

@rc2014@oldbytes.space @foone@digipres.club no, it had Oregon Trail on it.
