Being a senior game developer is realizing that all of your cleverness should be replaced by just giving every game object a unique ID and keeping them in a big list

You can start a conference!
You can invite 30 people or a dozen, or a hundred. Just start. Not all will grow. But they all start here.
Good coding:
Give every object a UID
Make a widget "uid-chip" that gets a persistent color based on the hash of the UID.
In dev mode, put it in the corner of every UI element linked to an object.
"Is this UI using the current value? AHA NO, OBVIOUSLY"
It's definitely Strangeloop when someone plays clojure with a keytar
Does anyone have good reading on open source business models? Where should I send my cofounder (a hustle/business guy) to read up about how to make money by giving away your product?

I made a storylet/Huggingface/tracery bot-making platform for my students to play with in this week's chat bot assignment.
I asked ChatGPT for storylets with pre/postconditions, and user-interaction options, that use tracery grammars, and it was happy to oblige! It's really terrific for quick, adequate content for testing out features, or trying out different storyworlds ("ok, now do it for high-stakes beef sandwich makers instead of space")
What are some tutorials or activities that students of machine learning could run for each other in 15-20 minutes? Ideally things with some critical-thinking/code, not just "prompt hacking for MJ"
Its API week in both of my classes (intro Python and Generative Methods)
What are some great internet experiences, games, etc, built with APIs or interesting datasets?
