On my way home from #godotcon26 full of inspiration and new ideas. Some of the highlights were the talks by Bart Wilminik on LODs and trees https://talks.godotengine.org/godotcon-ams-2026/speaker/QUGVD8/ both informative and highly delightful!

Parent, Mathematician by trade, game developer by heart.:
Created a robotics physics library (https://rbdl.github.io), was animation programmer (transformed hierarchical blend trees to C++ code), now more "serious" stuff. Still loves game jams, though.

@memoriesin8bit@mastodon.gamedev.place I'm wondering whether fossil energy is worse, equivalent or the same as money in this regard.
Working on a custom animation engine #Blendalot for #Godot. Blend tree evaluation runtime and editing okay for now so currently I'm focusing on the state machine editor. As of today I can create messy state machine graphs! Rejoice! #screenshotsaturday
