Our version, One Nation, is an embarrassment yet somehow manages to get enough votes to both stay in operation and showcase the ugliness in Australian culture.
I love your call to action and am reminded of Ricky Muir, a federal senator from the Australian Motoring Enthusiasts Party (yes, you read that right). Elected through preference distributions despite only having 0.51% of the primary vote. He smartened up after a disastrous interview with a national broadcaster, and from outward appearances took the job seriously for the rest of his term.
