Hi! We will be migrating to a new server tomorrow, located in my bed datacenter. The main reason is saving on costs, but this also reduces our reliance on external entities like datacenters, allowing faster hardware swaps in case of failure and improving physical security of the server as well.

The migrations will take place at varying times tomorrow at March 2nd of 2026. Downtime is to be expected at random times of the day. Pleroma and XMPP will be migrated first.

The following services are affected:
- Pleroma
- PrivateBin
- XMPP
- NextCloud
- Website

Today is Freedom Bits' 1st anniversary! The domain was registered the same day as today last year.
To celebrate, we're opening registrations on the XMPP server. Use your client to register directly. for now.

Hi everyone! We're migrating to a dedicated server located in Moldova tomorrow. This allows us to provide better performance and isolation between services as opposed to a VPS, as well as safeguard user data, given the current political situation in the US.

Several freedombits services will be going down for a few hours to prepare for the server migration.
The server migration will begin at 17:00 EEST on May 3rd.
