@Julieodonn@mastodon.ie we do need more exposure on this. Despite the non-sensical and misleading "Privacy. That's iPhone" ads, apple is a major ad company that hoovers up any and all data.

#grapheneos needs to be promoted more as an actual working alternative because #privacy is being eroded fast

Replying to

@taylorlorenz@mastodon.social @esqueer@mastodon.social but isn't that part of the problem that we have one entity that can decide or be swayed/pressured into deciding what is allowed and isn't? And where do we draw the line? Saying X app should be banned from the app store misses the point entirely because the choice is not up to the user.

@thrilway@libretooth.gr and yet in 2022 we are still so far away from having actual digital freedom and privacy. Sometimes it feels that the train already left and we will never catch it.
