Somewhere on Sognefjellet, the highest mountain pass in Norway (and all of Northern Europe). It reaches an altitude of 1,434 meters (4,705 feet) above sea level. Definitely one of my favourite mountain passes (I love mountain passes!).

Spotted this headstone at the old cemetery in Reykjavik last year. Love how the moss has become a decorative element on it.
There's an information board at the cemetery stating that they have some rare moss species growing there. I wish I could tell which ones.

Went to a collectible store where they had a table full of random stickers. 5 for $1! This is my 5 lol. The neurospicy one is my favourite.
Contemplating making myself a granny square cardigan even though I haven't touched my crochet kit in years. I'm sure it's just like riding a bike. (I hope?) This pattern looks fairly simple:

I don't remember the last time I had to water my container tomato plants. Its been raining a lot!
I really need to harvest them. There are lots of ripe ones. A lot of the Sungold must have split already.
This article makes me want to redo my messy garden. 😄 A bit too late for that now, but maybe next year?

Craving the food of my people. Naturally have to allot at least three hours just to cook one dish. 😭 On a happier note, it's on the stove, simmering for the next 2-3 hours. I got through the worst part: gathering all the ingredients and spices from my super messy kitchen pantry. Now I just have to remember not to rub my eyes with my hands after handling some hot chili peppers.
This rain is nothing if not consistent.
Seeing a production of Saturday, Sunday, Monday. It's almost 3-hour long with two intermissions. We're at the second intermission and I can't wait for it to be over so I can have dinner. So hungry! Doesn't help that it's set around Italian food and it smells like Italian food.
The Force is strong with this one.
Edit: Changed the photo because the original one has been posted before.

Fjallsjökull glacier, which drains into Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon, in Southeast Iceland. I took this photo in 2017. I wonder how much the glacier has retreated since.
It kind of annoys me how in CSS you can make link underline wavy but you can't make border line wavy. 🤨
I took this photo on our first Iceland road trip 13 years ago in Borgarfjörður eystri, East Iceland. I still wish I lived in that house in the photo, close to the sea and the mountains, and only a few minutes drive away from a puffin colony!
Nothing like getting a hot flush from playing Mario Kart. 🙄
We met beautiful and very friendly Claude the cat on our walk last Sunday. He was sitting under a bush in front of his house when I first saw him. He came to us right away for a pet when we moved closer and wouldn't let us go. His human said Claude is a very disloyal cat who'd come home with anyone who care to pet him. I love Claude.
I hadn't seen any updates from @barrd@mastodon.social in a while. Did a little search and found out he died unexpectedly back in February.
I knew Dave from Pebble (defunct). Not very long, but from the few interactions I had with him, I could tell he was a lovely person.
Rest easy, Dave!
Happy Not-Sure-If-Weed-Or-Not time of year in the garden to those who celebrate!
There's a beautiful old house on my most favourite street in town that's up for sale for $1.1M. We need to win the lottery so we could buy it, pronto. Just $1M would be good, please, Universe, with sugar on top? Okthxbai.
(Not the house I was talking about in the picture but it is on my favourite street.)

The rather camouflaged mud room (?) door to the house of Einar Benediktsson (1864–1940), an Icelandic poet, in Herdisarvik, on the south shore of Reykjanes peninsula, Iceland. We enjoy visiting/discovering obscure places in Iceland amidst the overtourism.
On a cold, miserable day in May 2022, while trying to see how far we could go until the road turned crappy driving East of Husavik in North Iceland (it never did turn crappy — we had to turn around halfway as we had no plan to visit East Iceland), we made a quick stop at Hallbjarnarstaðakambur, where you can see layers after layers of fossilized sea shells and such, dating over 3 millions years, all exposed on a cliff face. It was fascinating. Wish I'd taken more photos but the weather really could've been better. 😆
I keep seeing pretty photos of Lily of the Valley in my feed and wish that it wasn't an invasive species where I live. Had to pull out a bunch of them yesterday. 🙃
Spent half an hour cleaning up my messy garden. Still looks messy.
One of the spousal unit's co-workers told me he grew carnivorous plants as a hobby, but I misheard and thought he said coniferous. My first question to him was, "Do you grow them as bonsai?"
That happened, like, four years ago at least, when the co-worker just joined the company, but I still think about the awkwardness every now and then. 😆
People are harvesting tomatoes already? Damn. We still get snow and frost. 🥺
Working on my website makes me wish I knew more about PHP. Would've made a lot a of things easier. Ugh.
