Sometimes the weirdest things lead to finding a recipe for dinner. Yesterday, the #Wordle word of the day was GUMBO, which led to a discussion about Jambalaya (the Carpenters' song) and me finding a #vegan jambalaya recipe.

I'm interested to find any charities, businesses, educational establishments etc who might wish to join us in Trees Are The Key Awareness Week 2026.
It runs from March 16–22, 2026, coinciding with the UN International Day of Forests (March 21). Organised by Word Forest (https://www.wordforest.org/week/), this campaign highlights that trees are vital for climate resilience, biodiversity, and community health. It encourages simple, low-commitment actions like sharing social media posts, joining the "Sapling Hunt," or educational activities.

I don't do New Year resolutions, but I am trying to change my morning routine. From random early wake-up (5:00 - 6:00) followed by a couple of hours of doom-scrolling, I now have a structure. If I wake before 6:00, stay in bed, go back to sleep, meditate, write head poems (to be instantly forgotten) but do NOT get up unless in need. 6:00 alarm, 15 minutes ablutions, 30 minutes yoga, 30 minutes reading my current paper book. 15 minutes timed news catch up, then breakfast.
I'm at day 7 and committed to the principle "do it for 3 months and it becomes habit"
Do you have a thought-out, planned routine?
