Some crochet pieces that fit with May Day / Labour Day: the Melt the ICE hat, Fladder the wrath bat, and a work self-care survival pouch. The bat was made for Witchs' Black Lent, as was the black-out poetry and mini wrath journal.

Since a few weeks I'm pausing my crochet projects because of tendonitis but it's sooo hard! 😢 So I tried to come up with a crochet challenge for May that doesn't involve crocheting but basically means planning and sketching future projects, gathering inspiration, and maybe creating a crochet zine. It's called #maycrochetbuffet . I hope it will comfort me. 😊

Darning or mending socks kept me sane during June's heat wave because it was a nice creative and repetitive thing to do. It also helped to have extra wearable socks when I had to postpone doing laundry because it would have made my place even more humid and hot.
