It must be close to forty years since I read The Grapes of Wrath. I had forgotten just how angry a book it is. Still reading but the exploitative car salesmen and second hand dealers have got me riled up. This novel has a lot to say to our modern world. The current harshness of the USA has a long history. #Bookstodon
