Argh! Just read some LLM generated code and I want to scream into the void! Non-pythonic Python that has such verbose docstrings on tiny functions so it is harder to read. Duplicate code. Old style file handling. It is horrible. The fact that it is getting props from the AI boosters is either because they didn't look at the code or have decided that this shit is acceptable. The fact that it is wrapping up a CLI that isn't designed for having its output parsed is a code smell itself. Since the CLI is an internal tool, step 1 should be adding machine readable output to that.
