Probably not the most dangerous thing for Turkeys to do today, but crossing Mass Ave in front of the 96 bus (at Waterhouse St) probably isn't the best move.

@mattblaze@federate.social Recently there has been discussion of how running more trains through rather than terminating at Penn would help a good bit, though tied to some smaller infrastructure improvements. See https://pedestrianobservations.com/2025/12/29/the-importance-of-penn-station-access-west-to-through-running/ and what it links to.

Interesting that the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, might just... not issue a license for the World Cup games to happen there (gift link):

Looking for a metal bracket to attach to a post that is 4 inches wide, and wishing 2x4 and 4x4 didn't actually mean 3.5 inches...

@felicityhannah@mastodon.green Somewhat off topic (although I think on topic as to what was intended by the machine's designers):
I remember many ticket machines in the Tokyo subway had a separate light indicating each type of change they currently had (one for each denomination of bill or coin). This made it reasonable to use a ¥10000 bill to buy a ¥170 subway ticket and not worry that you'll get all the change in small coins.
