#LettersFromHull 07/07/86 My project next year is about storing and playing back speech and analysing it for linguistic purposes (not using a tape recorder). I have a “claim to fame”. Kate will no doubt have heard of that amazing Hull band “The Housemartins”. Well, I once did the lighting and helped set up the sound gear at one of their concerts.

We rode the mail train at the London Postal Museum today. Lovely museum, would recommend for anyone.
