I haven’t read all of Crows nor played it. I’ve read enough for me to decide.
It is well done. There is too much meta taking away from the OSR game play I like.
Ultimately I wouldn’t call this an OSR game. It’s like a well done simulation, it looks like a great game, a great TTRPG. Too abstract.

Idea. Fill a binder with art that could be used as impromptu hand outs during a game. When wanted rip ir out, hand it to the players. Replace it with something new later.

I find that Daggerheart works just fine, great in fact, if you use traditional play for PCs and GMs. In fact the opposite of that I find is mostly just commentary on how folks should play and not especially forced or baked into the rules of Daggerheart. I’ve run it both ways.
