@darkuncle@infosec.exchange I am more and more convinced that a lot of the issue is that the cybersecurity industry over rotates on sensational and not real risk. And even when they focus on risk, it doesn't actually keep up with the ability to respond. Sooooo many thoughts here. Probably worth a chat.

mastodon 4.7.3Watching some of the old videos from the early days of devops, it really makes sense how we didn't achieve the vision so many of us had early on… Much like agile, we cared about ideals without giving a clear set of guidance while promising we would solve real business problems. I still believe in what we were trying to achieve but wish we had gotten there.
