@Tutanota@mastodon.social a victory over oppression & mass surveillance. annexing another country and then handing all of the people run companies over to capitalists, exploiting the workers for their saving by having them trade their currency 4 to 1 to be able to buy food in their supermarkets and then never trying to fully integrate the population or trying to rebuild the broken infrastructure isn't a victory over oppression it is oppression.
