1. I appreciate the goal
2. They’re going to get sued for the branding alone
3. Lifetime free updates? Let’s see how long that lasts
4. I wouldn’t trust my pro software to someone who insists that Pantone is just a color palette
@matt@postchat.io I definitely see using Firefly to extend plates, build upon or swap elements without spending hours in PS/AI, and generating vectors from sketches looks awesome!
Most of this, though, will probably be in the mockup/prototyping/styleframe stages. A way to quickly iterate and have a good reference for the final look which might use AI less.

@matt@postchat.io I had a similar feeling turning down motion design moonlighting projects. But so often they weren’t that fun and it didn’t feel like it was worth it. I still occasionally take them on but I’m much more picky and I’m in a better mental space for it.
Trying really hard to keep this account and timeline strictly #MotionDesign and #Post. This should help.
This #ColorPalette generation tool is awesome and a refreshing break from the more simple complementary/split/analogous tools. But I wish I could just draw a bezier arc instead of selecting math formulas. Anything like that out there? https://meodai.github.io/poline/

As much as I like #Expressions in #AfterEffects, simple layer parenting can go a long way to simplifying or eliminating expression code.
This #mac catalog is probably from 2001? Up to 512MB RAM!!! 1.3MP digital camera with floppy storage! I wanted that #quicksilver #g4 but didn’t get one until the mirror drive door model a few years later. And I *really* wanted the #TiBook
Luke warm take: 3D cel-shaded or using other 2D shaders still feels like 3D. It’s got this weird uncanny animation valley feel.
@younger @mauro@mograph.social I know this is one of the strengths of the Fediverse and all, but it’s also a huge issue when trying to convince the general person about it.
@Blahmage@mastodon.art There are a lot of hyper specific tutorials out there. It’s money but have you looked at some of the School of Motion classes? Or Jake Bartlett has some high quality tutorials on YouTube and Skillshare. #MotionDesign #AfterEffects
@nathandowning@postchat.io I’m nowhere near the market for either machine right now, but that’s disappointing, too. I get that they don’t want to completely shelve the Mac Pro, but limiting the Mac Studio seems short sighted.
