I am here for tonight's #Monsterdon, The Bat. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/35813 Always interested in anything with Vincent Price. Bonus Agnes Moorehead, a few years before she portrayed Endora. This seems pretty similar in structure and tone to last week's movie. Would have loved a Last Drive-in Episode for this one.

There's a little bit of 80s rock video mixed with the Elfstone/Sword of Shannara mixed in liberally with rando fantasy tropes. I think what struck me on re-watching as a grown adult is that while it isn't a great film, it isn't actually that bad. It just sort of competently does what it does. I forgot parts of the soundtrack actually kind of slap. #Monsterdon

#today will unfold however it must. A good week of determination and accomplishment. Weekend brain is very welcome, aided by an empty $dayjob agenda. Another sunny day, would go out for another run if I hadn't done so yesterday. Tomorrow if the weather holds. Looking forward to a day of coding and flow before starting my weekend. I'll get out into the sun and read as much as my day allows. I have a few hundred more words for the fiction I'm currently working on, may wrap that up later too.

And the moral of the tale, just in case we missed the umpteen times it was literally stated, in the intro then again in the end. Come to think of it, not a word in the middle stretch when it would have been most useful. In the end was as the intro said: you stray from kung fu, you find out. Apparently at the hands of your long lost kid brother. #KungFuSat
